Conference paper acceptance notification: 3 June 2009

Camera-ready format for the main RANLP conference

Three kinds of papers are accepted: regular (7 pages in the conference proceedings), short (6 pages in the conference proceedings) and posters (5 pages in the conference proceedings). Please adjust the lenght of your text accordingly by shortening if necessary. The template stylesheets are shown bellow (they are the same as the ones used in the submission). The camera-ready version should be submitted as a .pdf file, which will be used for assambling the conference proceedings.

In addition to the camera-ready paper text in .pdf format you need to submit an especially prepared abstract in .doc format and the same file converted to .pdf. It should be no longer than 150 words and should contain in addition the paper title, author names and short author's affiliations. Please upload the two files as a .rar or .zip archive. All abstract will enter the "RANLP-09 Book of Abstracts". Please use the "abstract-demo" given bellow.

Conference Management System

For the second time, the submission is maintained by conference management software - START. To make a submission please go to http://www.softconf.com/ranlp09/main and follow the instruction given there. In case of problem, feel free to contact us at the ranlp09 [AT] lml.bas.bg.

Format

Submissions should be A4, two-column format and should not exceed seven pages (poster and demo submissions should be no longer than 5 pages), including cover page, figures, tables and references. Poster and demo papers are presented at the conference in joint poster/demo sessions. Times New Roman 10 font is preferred. Papers should be submitted electronically in **PDF** format. The reviewing process will be blind. the paper must not include the authors' names and affiliations, neither self-references that reveal the author's identity. Please avoid "We previously proved (Jones, 2007) ...", and use instead citations such as "Jones previously proved (Jones, 2007) ...". Papers that do not conform to these requirements will be rejected without review.

Review Policy

The review process is anonymous. Submissions will be reviewed by 3 members of the Programme Committee. Based on the reviewers' scores, the submitted articles are accepted as REGULAR papers (7 pages in the full conference proceedings and 30 minutes oral presentation in the conference sessions) or as SHORT papers (6 pages in the full conference proceedings and 20 minutes oral presentation in the conference sessions), or as POSTER papers (5 pages in the full conference proceedings and tableau-presentation in poster sessions). Authors of accepted papers will receive guidelines regarding how to produce camera-ready versions of their papers for inclusion in the proceedings. Guidelines for producing camera-ready versions and demo text will be also available at the conference web site at http://www.lml.bas.bg/ranlp2009. The full conference proceedings will be distributed at the event.

Multiple Submission Policy

Authors may submit the same paper at several conferences. In this case they must notify the organisers in a separate mail to <ranlp09 [ AT ] lml.bas.bg>, so we know that the paper might be withdrawn depending on the results at some other conference.
