We are pleased to announce that the 12th biennial RANLP conference will take place in September 2019 at the Black Sea city of Varna. In addition to the conference programme of competitively peer-reviewed papers reporting on the recent advances of a wide range of NLP topics, the RANLP conference will feature 5-6 keynote speeches. There will be also poster and demo sessions. The conference will be preceded by two days of Summer School on Deep Learning in NLP (29-30 August, 2019) and two days of tutorials (31 August-1 September, 2019). Post-conference workshops will be held on 5-6 September 2019. A Student Research Workshop will run in parallel to the main conference. The Student Research Workshop, now in its sixth edition, is a vibrant discussion forum for young researchers. Six post-conference Workshops will be held on 5-6 September 2019. Moreover, the 3rd edition of the two-day conference “Biographical Data in Digital World 2019” will be co-located with RANLP and will take place on 5-6 September 2019.
As from RANLP 2009, the papers accepted at RANLP and the associated workshops will be included in the ACL Anthology. The RANLP proceedings are also indexed by SCOPUS and DBLP.

The third conference in the series will be organised on 5-6 September 2019 in hotel “Cherno more” Varna.
SUBMISSION OF RANLP 2019 PAPERS, POSTERS, DEMOS
The RANLP 2019 submissions will be maintained by the conference management system START. For further instructions, please follow the submission information at the conference website. The reviewing process will be anonymous. Double submission is acceptable, but authors will be asked to declare it at the time of submission. The submissions will be reviewed by at least three members of the Programme Committee. The authors of accepted papers will receive guidelines regarding how to produce camera-ready versions of their papers for inclusion in the proceedings. The full conference proceedings will be uploaded on the ACL Anthology, and each accepted paper will have a DOI number. A printed version will be made available at the conference if ordered in advance (cost: 50 EUR).
This year, RANLP aims to provide early notification of acceptance to authors and presenters who need visa to enter Bulgaria. Thus, we invite early submissions including author names and paper abstracts, in order to facilitate a faster review process. Access to the conference management software is already available.

LOCATION and TRAVEL
RANLP 2019 will be held in Varna, the largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, in Hotel “Cherno More”. The event venue is centrally located at the entrance of the Sea Garden and offers excellent conference facilities. The city is a major tourist destination with flights to/from the Varna International Airport. It is also known for its Archaeological Museum, which features (the oldest gold treasure in the world) and is in walking distance from the conference venue.
