PROJECTS before 2000:

  • 1999 - Project leader of "Internet technologies for document classification", with Bulgarian fund "Structural and Technological Policy", Call'98 for projects oriented to the 5FP of EC;
  • 1996 - 1998 - Principal investigator in DBR-MAT: a Joint German-Bulgarian-Romanian Project in Knowledge Based Machine Aided Translation, funded by the Volkswagen Foundation (Germany), second phase of DB-MAT (1992-95). The Bulgarian team was engaged with a sophisticated modul for generation of natural language explanations in Bulgarian from an underlying knowledge base of conceptual graphs.

  • 1995 - 1996 - Principal investigator in DOC-GEN: Generation of NL Hypertext Documentation from the Internal Specifications of the OO CASE-Tool OBLOG (performed for the Portuguese company OBLOG Software S.A.);

  • 1992 - 1995 - Principal investigator in DB-MAT: a Joint German-Bulgarian Project in Knowledge Based Machine Aided Translation, funded by the Volkswagen Foundation (Germany);
