Trips

As you know Erasmus is a lot about travelling. That's a great way to get to know the country, the people and the language. And Italy is a place that gives you a lot of opportunites for that, on almost any hill you may find a castle or fortress or if not, behind it there will be a pretty lake or the cuttiest forgotten city with the small stony center and tiny shops decorated with tons of flowers. That's so much Italy!

You may want to have a look at the places I've been so far:

Bologna --> Rain and cold weather, but still a very pretty city.

Siena --> Already been there twice and I find the Duomo one of the best places I've visited so far.

Florence --> The prettiest city so far - pretty, charming and not overcrowded

Arezzo --> Small and pretty, we dropped for half an hour and we spent three...

Napoli --> Looked very pretty from the boat, but on the ground was not that fascinating anymore...It's better if you know the places you may visit and the ones to avoid

Sorrento --> I just had a night walk and dinner there, so far so good.

Capri --> It was marvelous! Look at it yourself.

Pompeii --> I could feel the greeks walking there, it is real, it is a city, just the roofs are missing.

Ercolano --> Gives the impression of the past, but Pompeii is the real city which must be visited.

Lago di Bolsena --> Perfect place for picnick, can't wait for going there on a boat.

Lago di Bracciano --> A bit smaller than Bolsena, but the nature is even more beautiful there... it's surrounded by green mountains and the castle there is still an attraction.

Venice --> I don't understand the people who say there isn't anything special in Venece. Just one advice, don't go there alone, get yourself a company which you can share the emotion with.

Viterbo - Every time I go to Rome, I like Viterbo more and more, it's small, quiet and still full of students and young people ready to party with foreigners. The historical center is adorable!

Roma [1] [2]- What can I say about it... there are so many guides written. It is an amasing city, full of history, but too much crowd.
