The University
University of Tuscia is completely fitting the Medieval style of Viterbo. Even only 30 years old, it has developed a very good infrastructure and offers great campus to the students. The faculty of Langueges is a Medieval building near the old part of the city, which makes you feel belonging to the history. The faculty of Political Science is situated in the completely preserved old part of the city and serves a great view towards the Pope's Palace. The green garden with benches is a perfect place for the people seeking insipiration. Once you get there you forget any dificulties in the lessons thaught. As every Erasmus student can make classes in any faculty in the university, you wouldn't regret having classes in this one, you would fully enjoy it! The other faculties also offer interesting courses, just have a look at the website ( http://www.unitus.it ) and you can find all the information you need, a little bit confusing for non italians, though.
It's really necessary to know the language here, because not many people would be able to answer a question in English. And that is really helpful actually, because it's a good motivation to learn. You don't have much choice, especially when you have the classes in Italian! For the students who need to improve their Italian language skills, there is a special course thaugh for foreigners. The classes are pleasant and quite fun and after some months you just start speaking. Isn't it great. One language more in your CV.
